  First Time Tales – Stranded

Note: Because of Amazon’s new stricter policy for book titles, descriptions, and covers, I’ve had to edit several of my books. This story was formally titled, ‘Virgin Tales – Stranded’. The actual content of the stories haven’t changed. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused for my readers.

  Chapter 1

The memories of my first time still stay with me, even though it happened back in ‘68, almost forty-five years ago. Those were simpler days, when girls didn’t have access to the internet or iPhones like the girls of today, who learn everything there is to know about sex before they turn twelve.

I was barely eighteen at the time, and very naïve. My parents were religiously straight-laced, and avoided the subject of sex completely, other than insisting that boys were bad, and I should stay away from them. The little I could pick up from my friends was fragmented and confusing, leaving me with surging hormones and desires I had no clue how to handle.

Being a pretty girl, I captured the attention of plenty of boys, but my parents’ warnings stuck, and all of the boys’ efforts to get closer to me ended in failure.

Even though the circumstances surrounding my deflowering were unusual, not to mention my partner, I consider myself lucky to have had such a wonderful and caring introduction to the world of sexual pleasure. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. And although he would never admit it, my husband of thirty-nine years benefitted from my sensual attitude towards sex that was instilled in me by my first lover.

It all started with my friend, Becky, and her invitation to join her family for their vacation at the beach…

  Chapter 2

“Come on, Chrissie, you have to go. If you don’t, I’m going to be stuck there with all those kids and my brothers. It’ll be horrible.”

“But isn’t it going to be too crowded?”

“A little, but we’re renting a huge beach house, with lots of rooms. You and I can share one. If you don’t come, I’ll probably have to share one with my nieces.” Becky stuck her finger her mouth and pretended to gag.

  “How many people are going?”

“My parents, me, my three brothers, and each of their wives and kids.”

  “How many kids?”

“Let’s see,” she said, her brow furrowing in concentration. “Danny has four kids, Matt has two, and Steve has one, but she’s just a little baby.”

I did the math in my head. “That’s sixteen people. In one house?”

  “It’s a big house. I promise, we’ll have fun.”

“But I’ll be there for my eighteenth birthday.”

She grinned. “I know. It’ll be exciting. My mom will make you a cake.”

  “I just don’t know, Becky.”

“Come on! And besides, we’ll probably meet some guys.”

I felt a flutter in my stomach. “Guys?”

“Yeah, you remember I told you about Vinny, who lives down there, and how he kissed me?”

  “Yeah.”

“He has plenty of friends. Maybe you’d like one of them.”

  “I don’t know.”

“Chrissie, I’m just talking about a kiss, not going all the way. Loosen up a little.”

I knew that the possibility of meeting guys down there should have sealed my decision not to go, but, for some reason, I felt all weird inside when I thought about it.

“You sure your mom and dad won’t mind?”

She smiled. “Of course not. They told me I could bring someone.”

  I’ll ask my parents then.

  “Great!”

  Chapter 3

So, a week later, Becky and I were in the rear-facing seat of her parents’ station wagon as we made the five-hour trip to Longbow Beach. Halfway through the drive, we stopped for a fast-food meal.

“You two were being quiet back there,” Mr. Warren said, as we enjoyed our hamburgers.

“Bob,” his wife said, “You’re just used to going to the beach with the boys.” She turned to me. “Chrissie, you should have seen it. Those three older boys tormented their little sister all the way down. All we heard was screaming and yelling and crying coming from the back. I swear to God, there were times I wanted to pull over and leave them all on the side of the road.”

I laughed. “I’m glad we’re not as much trouble then.”

Becky had been a late baby, born when her youngest brother was nine. The boys were only a year apart, and had teamed together to pick on her as she grew older.

“They’re still mean to me,” Becky said.

“Only because they care about you,” her mom replied.

  “Right.”

“Speaking of your brothers,” Mr. Warren said, “Danny and Marcia are–”

Mrs. Warren quickly put her hand on her husband’s arm and gave him a sharp look, stopping him in mid-sentence.

  “What about Danny?” Becky asked.

“Nothing for you to worry about, dear,” her mother replied. She gave Mr. Warren an
other look, and he stared down at the table, chagrined.

I glanced between them, feeling awkward, like I was eavesdropping on a personal family matter.

After lunch, we piled back into the car and resumed our journey. Although Becky and I had spent the first half of the trip chatting happily, now she was subdued.

  “You ok?” I asked.

  “Yeah.”

  “What’s wrong?”

  She shrugged.

  “Becky, what is it?”

  “My brother.”

  “Danny?”

  “Yes.”

  “What’s wrong with him?”

Becky peeked back to the front to make sure her parents weren’t listening, then spoke in a low voice.

“I think him and his wife are getting a divorce.”

  I gaped in shock. “Danny?”

She nodded, and I could see her eyes getting moist.

“But Danny is one of the nicest people I know,” I said.

“He is. It’s that wife of his, Marcia. She’s a…” Becky paused and dropped her voice lower. “…bitch.”

I shook my head, not believing this. No one I knew had gotten a divorce. It just wasn’t done. “But they have four kids.”

“Doesn’t matter. All they do is fight. A few weeks ago at our Fourth of July picnic, they started arguing right in the middle of the yard. It was horrible.”

  “That sucks.”

“My mom is in denial. I think she’s hoping this trip will help them get along better.”

  “Do you think it will?”

She shrugged. “Don’t know. I’m not even sure I want them to stay together. I think he’d be happier without her. He never smiles anymore.”

I placed my hand over my friend’s. “I think it will work out.”

  Chapter 4

The town of Longbow Beach was separate from the mainland, sitting on the other side of the inland bay. We had to travel over an old, rickety bridge to get across, and I wondered if it was going to hold up long enough for us to make it. Arriving at the beach house, we got out, and as I stretched out the travel kinks, I took in the building.

It was large and imposing, Victorian in style, and sat on a hill at the far end of the beach, away from the tourist crowds. It was painted green, but the color was faded from years of exposure. A large porch wrapped around two sides, and I smiled, getting a good feeling about the place.

Since we were the first to arrive, we got to pick our rooms, and Becky and I laid claim to the attic, which was brightly lit by round windows on four sides, and had two twin beds. We were just finishing unpacking our stuff when we heard the arrival of the rest of the family.

When we got downstairs, the previously sedate house had turned into an insane asylum. Kids were everywhere, yelling at each other, with their parents telling them to be quiet. Suitcases and bags were sitting all over the floors, with more being brought in.

“Hey munchkin,” Becky’s brother, Matt, said to her as he walked by with an armful of grocery bags, “how about helping us unpack our car?”

  “How about no?” she replied.

“Help your brother,” Mrs. Warren said, as she hurried by in the other direction.

So we headed out and began to unload bags from their packed car. Beside us, Danny and his oldest son, Andrew, who was nine, were unloading their car. I looked closely at Danny, seeing him in a new light after the news Becky had shared with me.

He was tall with dark hair, like his brothers, but he had a much more thoughtful face than the other two. There also seemed to be a melancholy about him, and I wasn’t sure if it was real, or just something I imagined after hearing about his troubles with his wife.

Twelve years older than his sister, he had gotten married and moved out when she was eight, so I didn’t have that many memories of him picking on her, like I did with her other brothers. Andrew had been born soon after they were married, and the other three kids came two years apart. I always thought Danny was young to have so many kids. Even at thirty, he still had most of the boyish charm left in his face.

He was also partially responsible for one of my most vivid memories, and a bit of my sexual education, as limited as it was.

  Chapter 5

I had been thirteen at the time, spending the day at Becky’s, where her family was having a picnic. The family wasn’t as large then, but there were a few kids there, including a couple of babies.

We had been in the pool, and since I was going home soon, I went up to Becky’s room to change back into my clothes. After dressing, I was walking past one of the bedrooms, and I heard soft giggling coming from within. Curious, I stopped.

The door was slightly ajar, and I listened intently. The giggling resumed, accompanied by a few sighs and soft kissing sounds. I was at that age where anything about sex intrigued me, and I was curious about what was happening on the other side of that door.

In an unusual act of boldness for me, I pushed the door further open, just enough to allow me to step inside. My heart skipped a beat when I saw what was going on.

Danny was lying back on the bed, and Marcia sat astride him. They were wearing their bathing suits, but their hips were locked together, and Marcia was moving up and down on him, her hands on his shoulders. From their expressions, they both looked like they were enjoying themselves.

Looking closely at where their bodies met, I saw something odd. From my angle, I could see the edge of something wet and shiny between them, coming up out of his swimming trunks and disappearing between her spread thighs, where her bikini bottom was pulled to the side.

Finally, the realization of what it was came to me, and I gasped out loud.

Danny turned his head to me and muttered, “Oh shit.”

Marcia followed his gaze, and when she saw me she picked up a pillow and threw it at me, yelling, “Get out of here, you little nebshit!”

The pillow struck the wall above my head, and I stared at them wide-eyed a moment longer before darting back through the door. I ran down the stairs and outside, not even bothering to say goodbye to my friend as I took off towards home.

That night, as I lay in my bed, I could feel the turbulent emotions boiling inside of me. They had been fucking! All the wild stories my friends had told me had been true! Until that point, I had written them all off as lies and exaggerations. People wouldn’t really do that.

I could feel a tingling inside of me, and I felt the need to touch myself to relieve the anxiety inside. But where I wanted to touch myself was off limits, and I fell asleep in confused frustration.

  Chapter 6

The madhouse in the beach house calmed down a bit after everyone moved into their rooms. Becky and I got away from the craziness by taking a walk down the beach towards the boardwalk. We thought we might run into her friend Vinny, but he wasn’t around.

We were up in our room getting ready for bed, when we heard footsteps ascending the stairs. The door opened, and we were surprised to see Marcia standing there. She looked around with a frown on her face.

“I see you two selfishly took the best room.”

“We got here first,” Becky replied.

“So? Danny and I are the oldest. We should have had first choice.”

  “Yeah, you are pretty old.”

Marcia glared at her. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“What are you, like in your forties?”

  I snickered.

“I’m twenty-nine, you immature child. The prime of my life.” The she turned to me. “What are you laughing at, nebshit?”

“Just get out of here,” Becky said, “and learn to knock next time.”

“Humph!” she said, giving us both icy stares, then spun on her heel and walked out, slamming the door behind her.

“The prime of my life,” Becky said, imitating Marcia’s voice. “Fucking bitch.” She held up her middle finger towards the closed door.

  I laughed.

  Chapter 7

On Monday, Becky and I decided
to spend the morning tanning on the beach. We were looking around for some beach chairs, when Mr. Warren showed us where they were. It turned out that under the porch was a large storage area, enclosed by a wooden lattice. There were all kinds of stuff in there, like bicycles and beach umbrellas, and we grabbed a couple of chairs and dragged them down to the beach.

We lay there for a couple of hours, until the sun got too hot. We didn’t want to go inside, but we didn’t want to burn either, and then I came up with the idea of using one of the beach umbrellas from under the porch. Becky thought that was a great idea, so I headed back to the house to get one.

After opening the wooden access door, I climbed under the porch and searched for an umbrella. Some of them were torn, so I looked around some more. It was then I heard voices above me.

I recognized them as Matt and Jenny, who had come out on the porch to sit on the swing. I didn’t think anything of it, and continued to search for a good umbrella.

“I think we should do it tonight,” Matt said.

“What about your family?” Jenny replied.

“We’ll wait until everyone’s asleep, and then we’ll sneak down to the beach.”

My ears pricked up. What were they sneaking down to the beach for? Unconsciously, I had stopped moving, remaining quiet so the couple wouldn’t hear me.

“I’m not so sure about this,” Jenny said.

“Come on, this is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time. We’ll never get a better chance than this.”
